Job description

Overtime Athletics Delaware (OTA) is seeking enthusiastic Summer Camp Counselors to lead youth sports camps during the summer break. Join us to coach and engage children ages 6-14 in a fun, supportive environment at Tower Hill School. Counselors will work in teams to deliver specialized sports sessions and general camp activities, fostering a safe and enjoyable experience for all campers. OTA provides all necessary materials, equipment, and class plans.

Dates Needed

June 22-26: 12pm - 3pm. This is a basketball skills camp.

July 13-17: 8:30am - 3pm. This is a traditional day camp with focus on gaga ball and pickleball.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise campers during all activities ensuring safety and well-being
  • Coach and instruct youth in basketball, GaGaBall, pickleball, and traditional camp games
  • Engage campers through dynamic team leadership and activity facilitation
  • Monitor safety procedures and respond promptly to any incidents
  • Collaborate with fellow counselors in paired teams to run camp days smoothly
  • Lead specialized sports sessions according to camp schedule and plans
