Position Summary:

As a Receiving Material Coordinator De-Containerization, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of the De-Containerization process in a timely, safe and accurate manner. This includes, but not limited to loading and unloading trucks and moving material within the facility and from the loading platform by carrying, pushing, rolling, or operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other material handling equipment.

Your Shift:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

  • Ability to operate all equipment such as forklift, PE, high-reach, etc.

Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?

  • Unloads shipment by retrieving cartons and items; stacking cartons and items on pallets; moving pallets to staging area using a hand truck.
  • Confirms item and specifications; unloading and moving items to storage locations using a hand truck.
  • Operates forklift and/or pallet jack in a safe manner
  • Verifies shipment by comparing bill of lading to shipment schedule.
  • Reports item discrepancies by inputting information into purchasing database.
  • Ensures that damaged/problem merchandise are identified and processed according to established guidelines
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy receiving environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations; alerting others regarding potential concerns.
  • Keeps warehouse, loading/unloading docks, and shipping/receiving area clean
  • Assists in the Shipping and/or Receiving areas as needed.
  • Contributes to receiving and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
  • Improves receiving job knowledge by attending training sessions.

Do YOU Meet These Requirements?

  • Education:
    • HS Diploma/GED
  • Physical:
    • Able to move/lift 50 lbs. unassisted
    • Able to withstand changing temperatures (potentially very hot in summer and cold in winter due to being inside containers while unloading)
    • Position spends 100% amount of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing
    • Position may require climbing of ladders for top-level selection
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
