Dining Room Supervisor
Reports to: General Manager
Job Type: Seasonal, Hourly, Full Time & Part Time
Job Summary:
The Pier is hiring for the 2026 Summer Season.
We are looking for a seasonal, hardworking, dependable, and detail-oriented person to supervise The Pier Restaurant. This is a seasonal, full-time opportunity with the position available May through mid-October.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience.
  • Handle customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
  • Ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations.
  • Perform opening and closing duties as scheduled.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to communicate well with customers and staff members.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous restaurant supervisory experience required.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and/or sitting to work at a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
