Job description

Vitil Solutions is hiring for 6 positions for Computer Deployment Technicians

*NOTE: This job is 3-5 months, starting in July

The Deployment Technician will provide technical and logistical assistance in our Deployment Center and at customer sites throughout Sarasota County. NOTE: Due to project scheduling requirements, attendance for the entire employment term is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up computers & Carts
  • Imaging
  • Engraving
  • Logistical prep work

Previous experience with Windows 10 and the ability to perform basic troubleshooting orย CompTIA A+ certification is a plus!!

Work is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break. Occasionally, weekends or evenings will be required. We will notify you in advance.

Based on our production schedule and on-site activities, overtime is likely required. If not released early in the day, overtime is paid.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Ability to meet physical requirements - Must lift 20 lbs repetitively, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs with assistance, stand on polished concrete throughout the day, walk long distances with regular breaks, kneel & bend to access carts, and when on-site working outside during the summer.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions (a must)
  • A valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from all work sites
  • Ability to pass a level 3 background check (criminal & drug test)
  • Ability to recognize exceptions to work and adequately escalate issues to the team lead quickly
  • Flexibility with schedule (available to work overtime when required; frequent overtime is likely)
