Job description

Schedule:
  • Tuesday and Wednesday off
  • Monday, Thursday, Friday - 7am to 330pm
  • Saturday and Sunday - 9am to 530pm
  • Rotating holidays - 1 winter and 1 summer.

Summary:
Receives, stores, prepares and distributes materials, equipment and products within the Virtua Service Center.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Verify quantity and quality of incoming product using applicable equipment ( i.e. handheld or computer) into computer system/s.
  • Fill, transport and deliver orders to service center designated areas, using applicable systems and equipment (i.e material handling, handheld and/or computer).
  • Maintains and optimizes assigned inventories, ensures First In First Out (FIFO) is practiced.
  • Maintains the overall cleanliness, safety and security of the receiving, storage distribution operations.

  • Uses applicable Warehouse Management systems to perform duties.

  • Operates all equipment (i.e. carousel, conveyor, forklifts, electric or manual pallet jacks) safely and according to manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Conducts outdated product checks, documents findings and completes required processes related to obsolete and/or dated/expired products.

  • Participates in annual physical inventories.

  • Prepares or puts away STAT/RUSH orders as instructed by shift leadership.

  • Checks e-mails/voicemail, faxes and phone for supply requests and/or delivery/product issues and either resolves or forwards information to appropriate personnel for resolution, as directed.

  • Participates in orientation and training of new employees, and others as requested.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:
Minimum of 1-year prior materials management experience preferred. Receiving, storing, distribution/warehouse environment, preferred.
Basic knowledge/skills in computer use (data entry, email usage).
Knowledge of inventory and stocking to read and comprehend instructions..
Required Education:
HS degree or equivalent.
Training/Certifications/Licensure:
Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Passing Virtua supply chain forklift certification is a required term of employment.
Hourly Rate: $18.89 - $27.81 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant's experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
