Cyber Strategy Summer Scholar 

• This Summer Scholar is avigilant, tech-savvy professional who safeguards digital assets and ensures cybersecurity resilience.Provides essential support to transformation initiatives byleveragingtools, methodologies, and accelerators toassistproject teams in achieving strategicobjectives. This role is focused on supporting organizational and operational changes that align with business goals and drive growth. By combining analytical skills, technical skills, research capabilities, and a collaborative approach, this professional plays a key role in supporting successful transformation initiatives and enabling organizations to achieve their strategic goals. Provides actionable recommendations to strengthen security posture and reduceriskexposure. Collaborates with clients to enhance overall protection against cyber risks.

Deloitte's Government & Public Services practice serves government agencies, higher education institutions, nonprofit organizations, and other public sector organizations. Teams work across strategy, operations, technology, and transformation efforts to help clients improve mission outcomes and organizational performance. Professionals in the practice have opportunities to build specialized experience while working in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. 

Qualifications 

Required: 

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and expected to graduate by Summer 2028 pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Security, Mathematics, Risk Management, or a related/equivalent program 

• Strong academic track record (3.0 cumulative GPA required) 

• You must reside within a commutable distance (e.g. 100-mile radius) of your assigned office with the ability to commute daily, if required 

• Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. 

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance 

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. 

• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment. 

Preferred: 

• 3.4 cumulative GPA preferred 

• Internship, project, or coursework experience in computer science, cybersecurity, data analytics, engineering, information systems, information security, mathematics, or risk management
