Job description

Spend a summer writing low-level firmware that brings Blackstar's hardware to life alongside the founding engineering team.
What you'll do
  • Contribute firmware, drivers, and board support code to Blackstar's hardware platforms.
  • Own a well-scoped project from design through implementation and review.
  • Work directly with senior engineers on debugging across hardware, firmware, and software.

What we're looking for
  • Currently pursuing a degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with C/C++ and microcontroller or embedded programming.
  • Available to work full-time and in person in San Francisco for at least 10 weeks.

Nice to have
  • Experience with RTOS environments, bare-metal programming, or embedded Linux.
