Our summer internship is designed to introduce college students to Air Liquide and the industrial gas industry. Air Liquide supplies oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and many other specialty gasses, molecules, services and technologies to a wide range of industries, providing customers with innovative solutions that are vital to their industrial production and sustainability. Located in over 78 countries, we have more than 1,000,000 customers globally in diverse industries such as steel, food and beverage, electronics and pharmaceuticals. Interns work in a specific area of Air Liquide to develop their knowledge and skills while making contacts with people at all levels of the Company. Over the course of the internship, students learn about the Air Liquide corporate identity and culture while being given opportunities to build relationships with other new employees.

Below are the types of internships available:

Finance and Accounting - As an intern in our FP&A group, you will have the opportunity to learn about Operations Controls leverage Business Intelligence (BI) tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function. Engage in monthly financial close processes and reporting, participate in continuous improvement efforts related to industrial efficiency, and collaborate with key business stakeholders.

Supply Chain and Logistics - As an intern you will have the opportunity to partner with the supply chain team and work on a continuous improvement project. Support logistics teams with meeting customer requirements, learn data management and analysis skills and gain exposure to the use of analytic, decision and information systems within the organization and supply chain. Assist during the execution of sourcing events. Support the team with market studies and cost-modeling for potential new categories to be sourced.

Information Technology - Our IT division is responsible for supporting system applications for the US, Canada, Mexico, Trinidad and Colombia. Air Liquide utilizes Oracle and works with the business to determine what enhancements/new features they would like to deploy. Students will be exposed to writing design documents, working with the development team, test changes and work with end users.

Required Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Data Science, Computer Science, Material Science

  • Expected graduation of May 2029

  • Minimum cumulative overall GPA of 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale)

  • Must be able to provide own daily transportation to/from work

  • Must secure and finance own housing

  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future

  • Must be open and flexible to relocate anywhere in the US during and post program

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Internship Experience

  • Experience in the industrial gas industry
