Youth sports offer important life lessons that propel kids toward meaningful futures, including a sense of family and community. GameChanger by DICK'S Sporting Goods works to connect families via live video streaming of games, scorekeeping and team communication tools for more than half a million teams. We are a remote-first, dynamic tech company based in New York City intent on improving youth sports for all and developing our own teammates.

OVERVIEW:

The Position:

Kick-start your career at GameChanger! Serving youth sports communities, our app is used to score and live stream millions of games each year. Join us for a 2022 summer internship where you can have an impact and grow your skills for the road that lies ahead.

What You Can Expect:

  • Collaborating with a cross-functional team: engineers, designers, testers, and product managers.

  • Building new features and fixing existing ones in the GameChanger app.

  • Learning how to contribute to a CI-driven, scaled engineering organization.

  • Mentorship from other GC engineers to guide you through the experience.

  • Great people, awesome product, and lots of fun working with us.

QUALIFICATIONS:

What We're Looking For In You:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Interest and ability to learn new programming languages & tools.

  • Organized, curious, and proactive team player who is results-oriented.

  • Great communicator and enthusiastic about using technology to enhance people's lives.

  • Big plus if you have experience developing with parts of our tech stack: iOS, Android, node.js, and more!
