Position Title: College Summer Internship: Owego Apalachin Central School District

Location: Owego Apalachin Central School District

Program Dates: July 13, 2026 - August 14, 2026
ย Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:15 AM - 3:00 PM

Description:
ย The Owego Apalachin Central School District is seekingย current college students interested in gaining hands-on professional experience through our Summer Internship Program. Interns will work alongside district staff to support a variety of summer programs and initiatives while developing valuable career skills.

Interns may apply to work within the following departments:

  • Hawk's Nest Summer Learning Camp (Education, Pediatric Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Sports Management)


  • Music Education


  • Building and Grounds


Responsibilities:
ย Responsibilities will vary depending on the department placement but may include assisting with program operations, supporting staff with daily tasks, working with students or community members, and contributing to projects within the assigned department.

Interns assigned toย Hawk's Nest Summer Learning Camp will assist with student supervision, support academic centers and enrichment activities, and help facilitate the daily operations of the summer learning program.

Time Commitment:

Interns should be available to participate for the full five-week program (July 13 August 14, 2026) and maintain consistent attendance during the scheduled hours of MondayFriday, 8:15 AM 3:00 PM.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current college student who has completedย at least one semester of college coursework.


  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.


  • Interest in gaining experience related to the selected internship area.
