Overview
As a Civil Engineer for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Pittsburgh, PA office, you will work with project teams to create site development designs, develop permitting and construction plans, and complete municipal zoning and land development applications for our commercial, industrial, institutional, and energy clients. From solar farms to college campus expansions and steel mills to natural gas facilities, you'll take part in designing site layouts, grading, erosion and sedimentation controls, storm water management facilities, and site utilities. You will work with Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers to execute projects, and you will have the opportunity to interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials. You will be a part of the project team that impacts the whole project - from conceptual and design phases, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction, all the way to the grand opening.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 2+ years of professional engineering experience
  • Engineering In Training (EIT) certification preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, or Storm Sewers a plus
  • Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills and work in a team setting

Candidates who meet the qualifications above are eligible for up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus upon successful onboarding.
