Stagecrafters- Summer Camp Theatre Specialist 

Employment Type

Seasonal - June 8th - July 24th (8 AM - 4 PM, varying slightly due to holidays/training days)

Compensation 

Stipend ($3,500)

Position Summary

The Theatre Specialist at Stagecrafters Summer Camp leads engaging, age-appropriate instruction for students in grades 28 in acting, singing, and dance. In addition to teaching, they support daily camp operations, supervise counselor staff, and help create a positive, collaborative environment for all campers. This role blends creative leadership with strong organizational and mentorship skills to ensure a fun and enriching summer experience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completing or have completed a college degree
  • Experience working with students in grades 28, preferably in a camp, classroom, or theatre education setting
  • Background in theatre, including acting, singing, and/or dance
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and support staff and students
  • Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for young performer
  • Reliable, organized, and able to handle the fast-paced nature of a summer camp setting
  • Ability to pass a required background check.
