Job Summary We are seeking Summer Assistant Managers to work from the months of May to September in various outdoor pools and splash pads throughout Loudoun County. As a member of the leadership team, you will assist in enforcing rules, regulations, procedures, and operations.

A successful candidate will have leadership experience, a strong focus on customer service, and attention to detail to assist with administrative duties. We are currently hiring for the following location(s): Franklin Park, Purcellville, VA Lovettsville Community Center, Lovettsville, VA Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Overseeing operations of concession stands, including daily travels to the bank, and the opening and closing of outdoor pool sites. Sets up the pool for proper operation according to program grids, calendars, and posted hours; reconfigures pool as needed for special programs.

Monitors safe use of pools by customers and responds to injuries that may occur in a pool environment. Completes daily and weekly chemical readings and maintains levels to health code standards in pools. Maintains emergency preparedness in the pool facility.

Supervises and assists with scheduling Lifeguards and Water Attendant Staff. Maintenance and use of the vehicle for occasional meetings and bank visits. Prioritizing the health, safety, and company service standards for all our external and internal customers.

Additional critical job responsibilities may be undertaken that are specific to the role and departmental assignment. Flexible availability is needed from May 2026 to September 2026. Work schedule varies and will include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum Qualifications Completion of 11th grade; One (1) year experience in overseeing aquatic or pool operations including six (6) months in a leadership role. Red Cross Lifeguard and CPR/First Aid certification. Loudoun County approved pool operator's license.

Valid driver's license. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Related degree or certification in Parks and Recreation, Environmental Education and/or Natural Resources. Job Contingencies and Special Requirements Must undergo credit, DMV, and criminal background checks.
