About Juilliard Summer Programs:
Each summer The Juilliard School welcomes a cohort of young artists to live and study at Juilliard's campus at Lincoln Center in New York City, with world-renowned Juilliard faculty members and guest artists. Juilliard becomes a vibrant summer community of approximately 200 students from across the world. Students participate in daily lessons, master classes, studio classes, rehearsals, and seminars, perform in public recitals at Lincoln Center, and explore iconic New York City music and arts institutions. Juilliard summer program students will leave having connected with mentors and peers who are leaders in the field and having been prepared for success in college auditions and beyond.
Dates of Temporary Engagement: Twenty-one days from July 5 through July 25, 2026. The person in this position would be an employee during this period. There is no guarantee of employment beyond July 25, 2026.
Role Description:
The person in this position is responsible for the primary health care needs of Juilliard summer program participants, ages 12-18. The 2025 program dates are July 5 - 25, 2026. The Summer Program Overnight Nurse is required to work from July 5 - 25, 2026, (21 days). Please note no lodging or meals are included with this position.
The salary range for this role is: $1,800 - $2,200 per week, depending on qualifications and prior experience.
Role Responsibilities:
• Renders care to sick or injured program participants.
• Notifies Health Director of emergent conditions which require immediate medical attention.
• Assist with medication dispensing and documentation
• Chart all care rendered in official camp medical log
• Work collaboratively with other summer program personnel and Health Services staff
• Communicate with summer program participants' families regarding illness, injuries, etc.
• Carry out other duties as assigned
• Work for 8 hours overnight from 11:00 pm - 7:00 am every day, 7 days a week
Minimum Requirements:
• RN degree and current NYS license
• BLS certification issued after 7/25/25
• Prior pediatrics/family medicine experience
Preferred:
• NYS liability insurance
