In 2023, Chelsea Piers brought its exceptional, and unique programs to Brooklyn.This location features an Olympic-level gymnastics training equipment, state-of-the-art indoor boarded soccer fields, a warm-water, learn-to-swim pool, and multiple party/event spaces.

Role:
Chelsea Piers Field House Brooklyn is excited to look for Summer Camp Counselors to join our team. Our Summer Camp Counselors are vital to the success of our camps and are dedicated to providing campers with a clean, safe, friendly, and fun environment to ensure a well-rounded sports education and camp experience. Being a Summer Camp Counselor is a great way to gain experience and get your foot in the door at a world-class, growing sports and fitness company.

Responsibilities:
The responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:

  • Supervise all camper activities, ensuring the wellbeing of campers throughout the day
  • Work with other camp staff to plan and coordinate camp events
  • Oversee campers' compliance with rules and prevent accidents
  • Maintain cleanliness of camp facility and equipment
  • Maintain a professional attitude at all times
  • Report all incidents, such as camper illness, accidents, and rule violations to Camp Director
  • Memorize all emergency procedures

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children
  • Must be punctual, friendly, motivated, and alert
  • Must be neat and well-groomed
  • Must enjoy working in a team environment
  • Must have the ability to be flexible and rise above stressful situations
  • Must be able to commit for at least four or eight weeks of work
