Dates of summer school - Monday - Thursday - July 6 - July 30
Staff will have one prep day - July 2
  1. Teachers will have mandatory "Intervention" training in June - TBD

Teacher work hour - 830-230 pm
Essential Job Functions:
1. Plan, implement, and coordinate the day-to-day operation of the summer school program, incorporating components of accelerated learning, including enrichment activities, credit recovery, access to math and reading skill-building resources, and STEM programming.
2. Check and verify student attendance each day.
3. Address student discipline issues using WVDE policy 4373.
4. Communicate with parents/ guardians to address student needs and concerns.
5. Engage in developing project-based and other activities with a particular focus on Math, ELA, and STEM.
6. Ensure the facility is cleaned.
7. Work with school personnel to identify and recruit students to the program.
8. Coordinate with district personnel and administrators in developing and implementing assessment strategies to identify student needs and develop corresponding program learning modules to support student needs consistent with school improvement plan goals.
9. Implement technology to enhance student learning.
10. Work collaboratively within the building and throughout the district, to align and partner with existing programs and departments.
11. Performs other duties as may be assigned.
  1. LCBOE Schedule #17 Level XII- Professional "Posted" Supplemental or Extra Curricular rate of pay shall be $25.00 per hour.
