Summa Health - Akron, Ohio

  Summa Health is seeking a Urologist to join one of Northeast Ohio's most comprehensive and collaborative urology programs. This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of a growing, academically engaged practice that combines advanced surgical care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and resident education within an integrated health system.

Our team consists of 7 Urologists and 7 Advanced Practice Providers delivering the full spectrum of adult urologic care utilizing the latest minimally invasive and robotic surgical technologies. As one of the region's leading urology programs, we offer highly specialized expertise while maintaining a collegial, team-based environment focused on outstanding patient outcomes.

The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of nearly 700 providers employed by the Summa Health System. Headquartered in Akron, Ohio, Summa is one of the largest integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems in the state. With 2 hospitals and 20+ health centers, our system provides access to care throughout the region.

Comprehensive Subspecialty Expertise

Our physicians provide advanced care across the entire spectrum of urologic disease, including:

  1. Only regional Urologic Cancer Program with two fellowship-trained Urologic Oncologists specializing in prostate, kidney, bladder, and testicular cancers
  2. Fellowship-trained Male Infertility & Microsurgery specialist
  3. Fellowship-trained Genitourinary Reconstruction specialist with expertise in urethral and penile reconstruction
  4. One of the few practices in the region offering male urodynamic testing
  5. Multidisciplinary collaboration with medical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, and advanced imaging specialists

Candidate Requirements
