  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts, meeting planners, travel managers, local businesses, universities, healthcare organizations, and tourism partners.
  • Identify and secure group business opportunities across all market segments.
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and community organizations.
  • Leverage Marriott's sales resources, distribution channels, and brand programs to maximize exposure and revenue opportunities.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, site visits, presentations, and client entertainment activities.
  • Develop annual sales plans, budgets, forecasts, and revenue strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify new revenue opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate reporting, account management, and pipeline activity within Marriott and company systems.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of progressive hotel sales experience, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Marriott brand experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous pre-opening experience is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding hotel revenue goals.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate, group, association, government, and leisure sales segments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced opening environment.
  • Proficiency with Marriott sales platforms, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.

What We Offer
