What is a success manager?

Success Managers, often called Customer Success Managers (CSMs), are professionals responsible for building strong relationships with clients and ensuring they achieve their desired outcomes using a company's products or services. They act as the main point of contact after a sale, guiding customers through onboarding, training, and ongoing support. Success Managers focus on customer satisfaction, retention, and helping clients maximize value, which in turn supports business growth. Their role often involves proactive communication, problem-solving, and collaborating with other internal teams to address customer needs.

What are some common challenges faced by customer success managers and how can they be addressed?

Customer Success Managers often face the challenge of balancing the needs of their clients with the goals of their company. Managing multiple accounts, each with unique requirements, can be demanding, especially when trying to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention rates. Effective time management, proactive communication, and leveraging customer data analytics are key strategies to overcome these challenges. Additionally, collaborating closely with sales, support, and product teams helps ensure client feedback is heard and acted upon, leading to better outcomes for all parties involved.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a customer success manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Customer Success Manager, you need strong relationship management skills, a deep understanding of your company's products or services, and typically a bachelor's degree in business or a related field. Experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce, customer engagement tools, and data analysis systems is highly valued. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and empathy are crucial soft skills for building trust and resolving client issues effectively. These skills ensure customers achieve their goals, which drives satisfaction, retention, and overall business growth.

Lead Windows Developer

Weโ€™re building Reflow, a workforce and workflow intelligence platform that helps teams understand and improve how work gets done. Our Windows app is critical to capturing performance data and enabling insights across enterprise environments. Weโ€™re looking for an experienced Windows app developer to take ownership of development, stability, and deployment, working alongside Denis to scale the platform.

What youโ€™ll do
  • Lead Windows app development with a focus on performance, maintainability, and cross-environment stability.
  • Profile, debug, and optimize for speed, memory usage, and reliability.
  • Build for managed and restricted enterprise environments using MDM tools and deployment best practices.
  • Integrate with backend APIs, and optionally, implement or adjust backend endpoints when needed.
  • Collaborate with other developers to ensure consistent experiences across platforms.
  • Contribute to app architecture, testing, and release processes to ensure smooth updates and deployments.
Who you are
  • Proficient in C# with handsโ€‘on experience in Windows app development (Avalonia UI, WPF, UWP, or WinUI).
  • Skilled at profiling, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Experienced in enterpriseโ€‘managed or MDMโ€‘deployed app environments.
  • Comfortable working with APIs and understanding full-stack communication.
  • Detail-oriented, you care about consistency, reliability, and smooth user experiences across setups.
  • Experience with cross-platform or Electron-based apps.
  • Understanding of Django or other backend frameworks and API design.
  • Familiarity with security compliance and enterprise privacy standards.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for Windows apps.

Youโ€™ll own a key product surface, the Windows app that powers Reflowโ€™s data collection and user insights. Youโ€™ll work closely with the core team, improving performance, reliability, and the developer experience across platforms. This role is ideal for someone who wants to combine craftsmanship with real impact.

Lead macOS Developer

Weโ€™re building Reflow, a workforce and workflow intelligence platform that helps teams understand and improve how work gets done. Our Mac app is at the center of it all: capturing rich data, delivering coaching, and powering insights. Weโ€™re looking for a senior Mac developer to take ownership of our macOS app, drive technical excellence, and help shape the foundation of our platform.

What youโ€™ll do
  • Lead macOS app development, architecture, performance, deployment, and long-term scalability.
  • Own the quality bar: profiling, debugging, optimizing for speed and stability.
  • Ensure compatibility across managed environments, including MDM and restricted setups.
  • Collaborate closely with backend and data teams to integrate APIs and improve system reliability.
  • Guide and mentor team members and other developers, helping elevate the overall engineering craft.
  • Build for the edge cases, from sandboxing and permissions to enterprise deployments.
  • Contribute to our CI/CD and testing practices, ensuring smooth builds and updates.
Who you are
  • Expert in Swift and macOS app development, with a deep grasp of Apple frameworks, security, and system design.
  • Proven experience in profiling, debugging, and performance optimization across varied Mac environments.
  • Comfortable working in managed device contexts (MDM), understanding sandboxing, permissions, and deployment constraints.
  • Familiar with API integrations, backend collaboration, and maintaining reliable interfaces.
  • A stickler for detail, you notice inconsistencies others miss and care deeply about polish.
  • Experience with SwiftUI and Catalyst for cross-platform work is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of Django REST Framework or similar backend stacks.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated macOS testing.
  • Experience in security-focused or enterprise-managed environments.
  • Familiarity with enterprise compliance and privacy standards.

Youโ€™ll own a critical part of Reflowโ€™s core product, the Mac app that powers everything else. Youโ€™ll work directly with the founders, influence the product roadmap, and shape the engineering culture. This is a role for builders who love technical depth and product impact.

Data Platform Engineer

Weโ€™re building Reflow, a workforce and workflow intelligence platform that helps teams deeply understand how work gets done. As we scale, the data we collect is becoming richer and more complex. We need a data platform engineer to help us design and operate the systems that turn that data into intelligence โ€” powering analytics, workflow insights, and economic modeling.

What youโ€™ll do
  • Design, implement, and maintain a scalable data warehouse (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar).
  • Develop and optimize ETL pipelines to ingest data from APIs and internal systems.
  • Model and manage datasets to support flexible analytics and product features.
  • Collaborate with engineering team to improve data mining and analytics performance.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and visualization tools (Metabase, Tableau, Power BI) to enable internal and external insights.
  • Ensure data reliability, cost efficiency, and performance optimization across environments.
  • Implement event-based pipelines for real-time analytics and reporting.
  • Contribute to data governance, privacy, and security best practices.
Who you are
  • Experienced in data warehouse architecture and scalable analytics infrastructure.
  • Strong with SQL, data modeling, and pipeline performance optimization.
  • Hands-on with ETL tools, data ingestion frameworks, and cloud-based data operations.
  • Capable of balancing technical depth with real-world impact โ€” you build systems people actually use.
  • Comfortable navigating tradeoffs between cost, scalability, and complexity.
  • Curious about how data translates into insights, decisions, and automation.
  • Experience with Python for analytics and data wrangling.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-driven analytics or predictive modeling.
  • Exposure to real-time or streaming data architectures.
  • Understanding of data governance, compliance, and secure cloud operations.

Youโ€™ll build the backbone of Reflowโ€™s intelligence layer, the systems that make our data usable, fast, and insightful. Youโ€™ll work directly with founders and engineers across analytics, infrastructure, and product. This is a high-impact technical role that sits at the intersection of scale, performance, and strategy.

Weโ€™re open to part or full-time. Ideal for builders who care about performance and precision at scale.
