Job Description

REPORTS TO: Counselor

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma; college degree preferred. Access to a personal computer and reliable internet

DUTIES:

  1. Schedule weekly on-site meetings with students to discuss progress, goals, or other school related issues.
  2. Maintain adequate documentation of student and parent contacts (Infinite Campus)
  3. Monitor student progress and provide encouragement and support in needed areas.
  4. Update parents monthly regarding their student's progress.
  5. Make home visits as needed.
  6. Work to create and maintain a positive school culture and climate.
  7. Collaborate with counselors and other school personnel to create ways to foster positive student and parent relations,
  8. Assist students in setting and reaching daily/weekly goals.
  9. Ensure that students receive updated information regarding school activities, dual enrollment options, and other school related events or opportunities.
  10. Make appropriate referrals to counselors and social workers when needed.
  11. All other duties assigned by the Counselor.

Primary Location: Ben Hill, Dougherty, Irwin, Valdosta (Please select the location when filling out the application.)

Salary Range: $18.50-$18.50/ Per Hour

Shift Type: Part-Time
