As a Detailer, you are responsible for providing cosmetic prep services. Ideal candidates should be able to identify and remedy cosmetic issues inside and out. Attention to detail, thoroughness, consistency, and personal ownership of completed work are critical traits for successful Automotive Detailers. Must be comfortable working inside vehicles, using ladders, and a variety of cleaning products daily.

Salary Overview: The pay rate for this role starts at $19 per hour based on experience.

Hours: The hours for this role are Monday through Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm.

Detailer Responsibilities Include:

  • Vacuuming and washing the interior and exterior of vehicles.
  • Ensure that the quality of service (vehicle preparation, timeliness) consistently meets and exceeds customer expectations.
  • Work jointly with the Quality Inspection department to ensure cosmetic quality.
  • Record worked hours on a per-vehicle basis.
  • Operate with a high degree of care and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with GLS shop personnel.
  • Coordinate between departments to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Perform special tasks or be involved in special projects as required.

Detailer Qualifications and Skills:

  • Consistent work history and attendance record.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must have 1-3 years of previous detailing experience.
  • Proven consistent work history.
  • Physical fitness and flexibility enable candidates to be on their feet or inside vehicles for most of the workday.
  • Must meet the company's background check and drug screen requirements.
  • Valid Driver's License with an adequate driving record.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
