Substitutes need to be adaptable, able to quickly understand the expectations of various classrooms, and maintain a positive and productive environment.

These skills ensure that learning continues smoothly in the teacher's absence and that students remain engaged and supported.

What are some common challenges substitute teachers face when stepping into a new classroom, and how can they prepare for success?

Substitute teachers often encounter challenges such as unfamiliar classroom environments, varied student behavior, and limited time to review lesson plans.
