Waconia Public Schools is looking for candidates dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to explore their passions and create their success. Our school district is located 25 miles west of Minneapolis, Waconia Public Schools serves students and families from the communities of Waconia, Victoria, Minnetrista, Saint Bonifacius, and New Germany. School District facilities include an educational services and enrichment center, area learning center, three elementary schools (K-5), one middle school (6-8), and one high school (9-12).
Position Description: Provide assistance to students who have special needs and support to teachers in the implementation of daily lesson plans and activities. Duties are performed in one-on-one, small group and full-classroom settings.
Required: Candidates interested in becoming a substitute Educational Assistant for Waconia Public Schools must have a high school diploma or GED. Previous experience working with children is preferred.
The Substitute Educational Assistant pay rate is $17.00 per hour.
