LLE Education Group is excited to welcome enthusiastic "on-call" Substitute Teachers for our Child Care centers. As a Substitute you will assist in covering key positions. With a legacy of excellence and a heart for children, we're looking for educators who want to make a meaningful difference every single day.
Position information:
  • This is an hourly position that is on demand with competitive pay
  • Substitutes will be scheduled for all shifts Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:30 am to 6:00 pm or 6:00 am to 6:30 pm
  • This position reports to the Center Director
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities

What You'll Do:
  • Ability to travel and cover positions within the district (locations include Ashland, Chester, Colonial Heights, Mechanicsville, Midlothian, and Richmond)
  • Create and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to students
  • Support children through learning, play, meals, and rest
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inspiring classroom environment
  • Collaborate with your team to develop creative curriculum ideas
  • Communicate with families daily through mobile apps and personal updates
  • Cover lunch, breaks, and other duties as assigned

What You Bring:
  • CDA, ECE certificate, associate's or bachelor's degree in ECE or related field (or equivalent coursework)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a related role for a licensed childcare or educational facility required
  • Active enrollment in an accredited program may be considered with experience
  • Ability to meet Virginia licensing standards and pass a background check
  • Willingness to work flexible hours based on program needs
