The Dover United Health Rehab and Behavioral Center is looking for a dedicated Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist, holding licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or psychologist, to join our dynamic team in Ontario, California. In this full-time remote position, you will support individuals grappling with substance use disorders, leading them on a transformative journey toward recovery and well-being.

This role operates in a remote setting that allows you to provide vital counseling services to clients from the comfort of your own home or any suitable location. You will also engage in team meetings and consultations via telehealth platforms, ensuring a collaborative work culture.

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and understand the specific needs, goals, and challenges of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders.
• Develop and implement tailored, evidence-based treatment plans for patients, addressing both their psychological and emotional needs.
• Facilitate individual counseling sessions employing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to guide patients through their recovery processes.
• Lead group therapy sessions to foster a supportive community where individuals can share their experiences and learn from one another.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated treatment approaches.
• Provide crisis intervention services during substance-related emergencies, ensuring timely support for patients in critical situations.
• Educate patients and their families about addiction, coping strategies, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Stay updated on the latest research, best practices, and advancements in substance use disorder treatment to continually improve service delivery.

Your primary focus will be individuals battling substance use disorders, including but not limited to alcohol, opioids, and other addictive substances. This role requires an empathetic understanding of the complexities of addiction and a dedication to supporting patients through their unique recovery stories. The center serves a diverse population, emphasizing cultural competence and sensitivity in treatment approaches.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or licensed psychologist in the state of California.
• Strong understanding of substance use disorders and a background in evidence-based treatment modalities, with a passion for recovery-oriented care.
• Previous experience providing individual and group therapy within addiction treatment settings is essential.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.
• Proficiency in maintaining professional boundaries, adhering to ethical standards, and upholding patient confidentiality.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related digital tools.
• A collaborative mindset, thriving in a team environment while contributing to shared goals.

• Experience in facilitating evidence-based group therapy sessions with a focus on addiction recovery.
• Knowledge of community resources and support networks available for individuals in recovery.
• Experience in crisis intervention and emergency support for substance-related issues.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology for remote counseling.

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
