• Conduct thorough assessments to ascertain the unique needs and recovery goals of each individual seeking treatment for substance use disorders.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that draw upon evidence-based interventions to support each client's progress.
• Deliver one-on-one counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to promote positive change.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions that foster peer support and community resilience among participants in recovery.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care is provided.

This role focuses primarily on individuals grappling with substance use disorders, providing them with the tools and support necessary for successful recovery. Clients may range from those at the beginning of their recovery journey to those who have faced multiple challenges in maintaining sobriety. The diversity of the client population involves adapting therapeutic approaches to meet varying levels of need, cultural backgrounds, and personal experiences, ensuring an individualized approach that recognizes and respects each person's journey.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
• Demonstrated knowledge of substance use disorders, and a strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy focused on addiction treatment, with a clear ability to foster a non-judgmental therapeutic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills combined with strong communication abilities to effectively engage with clients and their families.
• Capacity to maintain professional boundaries, adhere to ethical practices, and protect client confidentiality consistently.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software that supports patient management.
• A collaborative spirit, ready to work harmoniously within a multidisciplinary team designed to provide integrated care.

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
