The Divine Mercy Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team within our Detox Center. This full-time position focuses on delivering comprehensive mental health services to individuals seeking recovery from substance use and mental health disorders. • Conduct thorough initial assessments of patients entering our detox program to determine mental health and substance use histories, needs, and treatment goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, ensuring they align with evidence-based practices and the individual’s own recovery journey.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions and group psychotherapy, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to address diverse mental health conditions.
• Ensure crisis intervention protocols are adhered to during emergency situations, demonstrating sound clinical judgment to maintain patient safety and well-being.
• Regularly document patient progress in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, maintaining accurate and timely records that contribute to comprehensive patient care.
• Work cohesively with healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and support staff, to optimize treatment plans and continuity of care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in staff trainings, meetings, and supervision sessions to enhance both personal and organizational growth.
• Stay informed of current trends and research in mental health care and substance use recovery to adapt and implement innovative practices.

This role specifically focuses on individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders within the detox setting. Our patients present a wide range of challenges, and the LCSW will provide critical support to guide them through the detox and recovery process. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the unique experiences and backgrounds of this diverse population.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• A current and valid clinical social work license in the state of California.
• Strong clinical skills with proven experience in providing psychotherapy to patients facing various mental health and substance use challenges.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with patients and team members alike.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and telehealth platforms.
• A strong commitment to evidence-based practice and a willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.

• Experience working specifically in detox or substance use recovery settings will be highly regarded.
• Proficiency in trauma-informed care approaches and knowledge of dual-diagnosis frameworks is preferred.
• A background working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams is advantageous.

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, reflecting the level of expertise and experience the candidate brings to the role.
