• Conduct thorough assessments of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders, identifying their specific needs and treatment goals.
• Develop, implement, and oversee individualized treatment plans that employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient.
• Provide individual counseling sessions, leveraging techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to promote lasting change.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions aimed at fostering peer support among individuals in recovery.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to create a unified, multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support for patients facing substance-related emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization.
• Educate patients and their families about addiction, recovery strategies, available community resources, and what to expect throughout the treatment process.
• Maintain meticulous documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and care continuity.
• Actively engage in professional development opportunities, remaining updated on best practices and recent advancements in the field of substance use disorder treatment.

The successful candidate will primarily work with adults struggling with substance use disorders, ranging from early-stage treatment to those seeking ongoing support in their recovery journey. Our patient population is diverse, including individuals from various backgrounds who face unique challenges related to addiction. This diversity enriches the therapeutic environment and fosters a more comprehensive understanding of recovery's complexities.

• A bachelor's degree in fields such as Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• A minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience, preferably within settings focused on substance use treatment.
• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities and a strong understanding of the intricacies of substance use disorders.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to establish rapport, demonstrate empathy, and maintain professional boundaries.
• Experience in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems and familiarity with relevant computer applications.

• Prior experience delivering both individual and group therapy focused on addiction recovery and support.
