This full-time, remote position will allow you to provide comprehensive therapeutic support from the comfort of your own workspace in Moreno Valley, California, specifically in a Detox Center environment dedicated to nurturing recovery.

Our Detox Center operates with a client-centric philosophy, and you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and counselors. You will engage in regular virtual meetings and case consultations, ensuring we provide coordinated and holistic care.

• Conduct thorough assessments of individuals seeking care for substance use disorders, defining their specific needs and treatment goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
• Lead individual counseling sessions on a one-on-one basis to explore recovery-related challenges and reinforce motivation.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that create a supportive environment, promoting peer feedback and shared experiences.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring that therapy is aligned with any psychiatric evaluations or medication management.
• Respond to crises with urgency and sensitivity, utilizing intervention skills to support patients during critical moments.
• Provide educational resources to patients and their families regarding addiction, effective recovery strategies, and available community resources.
• Maintain meticulous documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, ensuring that patient confidentiality is upheld at all times.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and team-building activities to stay abreast of the latest advancements in addiction treatment.

Your primary focus will be individuals affected by substance use disorders, including those in active addiction seeking detoxification and stabilization. You will also work with co-occurring mental health issues, tailoring your interventions to address the complexities of each patient's situation. As a therapist, you'll aim to create a trusting therapeutic rapport that fosters openness and growth throughout the recovery process.

• A minimum of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within the state of California.
• In-depth knowledge of substance use disorders, evidence-based treatment methods, and principles of recovery-oriented care.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering both individual and group therapy within the context of addiction treatment.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, maintaining a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanour in all patient interactions.
• Ability to uphold professional boundaries while adhering to ethical standards and confidentiality regulations.
• Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.
• Encourage a collaborative spirit, working effectively with team members from various disciplines.

• Hands-on experience in managing diverse client cases within a detox or rehabilitation setting.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches, particularly in relation to substance use and mental health.
• Previous work with community outreach and educational initiatives regarding substance use recovery.

This position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses. Additionally, we provide a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team!
