Job description

Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
Make the world's most advanced Strategic Fire Control System even smarter!
As an Advanced Systems Engineer for Strategic Weapon Control, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for coordinating development of a subsystem upgrade to a submarine Fire Control System.

  • Fire Control Systems (FCS) experience
  • System requirements; documentation management, testing, verification, and validation
  • Systems Design and Developement including Hardware and software integration; planning, testing, troubleshooting, and report generation
  • Engineering leadership; excellent communication and presentation skills, cross-discipline engineering knowledge, design review package generation, and developing customer intimacy
  • Introducing and managing modernization technical initatives by integrating complex technical scope across a team with varying technical goals
  • Generating white papers for informing the strategic community about the introduction of new technologies

Workplace Options:
