We are seeking a high-impact senior professional to provide critical support across all four Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) business area portfolios within Aerospace and Mission Systems (AMS). The successful candidate will support complex terms and conditions negotiations between BAE Systems and our global supplier base.
Working in close partnership with Subcontracts and Procurement teams, you will navigate the end-to-end execution of critical agreements, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), General Terms and Conditions, Intellectual Property (IP) frameworks, and other agreement types. This role requires a deep understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape of the Aerospace and Defense industry, with specific expertise in U.S. Government contracting, including FAR and DFARS compliance.

Required Skills and Education
  • Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in managing complex supplier or customer contract negotiations
  • Execution and administration of various contract aspects (terms, SOWs, performance-based payments)
  • Experience with intellectual property, license agreements, or teaming agreement, memorandum of understanding/agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other contract types
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including but not limited to program management, engineering, legal counsel, supply chain, & operations
  • Research and make recommendations on contract language and seek guidance on complicated terms and conditions from higher level delegation of authority or legal counterparts
  • Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. Government regulations, including the FAR, DFARS, and ITAR, and how to interpret flow down requirements
  • Broad understanding of contracts/business law principles and agreement structures

Preferred Skills and Education
  • Juris Doctorate
  • Master of Business Administration
  • 5+ years of experience negotiating contracts between Aerospace & Defense (A&D) companies and the U.S. government.
