Sub Assembler

Job Description

Winco is a veteran- and family-owned power generation manufacturer dedicated to exceeding customer expectations and fostering opportunities for our team. Located just 30 minutes from Mankato, MN, we provide a collaborative environment where innovation meets reliability in designing and producing high-quality generator sets.
 
Primary Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Department Supervisor, the Sub Assembler is responsible for assembling small to moderately complicated units and components. This includes reading blueprints and drawings, composing boards and materials, and performing teardown, rebuild, fitting, adjusting, and aligning to precise tolerances. Products created must meet strict inspection standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assemble or sub-assemble small to moderately complicated units.
  • Operate assembly-related machines and equipment safely.
  • Use tools including cordless drills, tape measures, and other assembly tools.
  • Prepare materials for preassembly tasks.
  • Work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
  • Comply with daily tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Adhere to and exceed Winco’s quality and safety standards.
  • Stand for extended periods of time.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
