Job description

Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Schaumburg, IL 60196
Duration: 12+ months Contract (Possibility of extension or conversion)

Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team.
  • The successful candidate will test and evaluate sub-circuit-level designs on base radio communication products, working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team including software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and certify digital subcircuit-level designs to ensure functionality and adherence to specifications.
  • Read schematics and conduct PCB layout reviews.
  • Operate test instruments such as bench power supplies and oscilloscopes to validate designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze product requirements and translate them into design specifications.
  • Provide technical contributions as part of a project team.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on project objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically in testing and evaluating radio communication products.
  • Strong understanding of digital circuits and sub-circuit components.
  • Experience operating bench power supplies, oscilloscopes, and other test instruments to validate designs.
  • Digital subcircuit-level design experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and adapt to diverse technical challenges.
  • Python experience required.

 Degree Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
