Job Summary KBR is seeking a self-motivated Plans and Operations Analyst with Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in developing strategies, plans, and operations. Analyst must have an advanced understanding of Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) and specifically an advanced understanding as it relates to Directed Energy (DE) C-UAS system employment in the National Airspace System in order to support the Department of War's Joint Interagency Task Force 401 (JIATF 401). Analyst will support the organization's Director, Executive Director, Division Chief, and other leaders as a focal point for the Department to synchronize and integrate C-UAS and DE efforts for all stakeholders (Office Secretary of War, Joint Staff, Services, and Interagency) CONUS and OCONUS activities with the goal of providing C-UAS capabilities to protect our Warfighters at home and abroad. Roles and Responsibilities * Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) to the Integrated Portfolio Division leadership on matters related to Directed Energy C-UAS system employment in the National Airspace System.
* Possess knowledge of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-managed National Airspace System (NAS) and its integrated network of U.S. airspace, including domestic and oceanic regions, navigation facilities, airports, rules, procedures, and personnel that ensure safe and efficient aircraft operations.
* Provide technical expertise in the areas of Direct Energy (DE) and High Power Microwave (HPM) systems, integration, and operational concepts.
* Stay current with emerging trends, regulatory requirements, and advancements in DE/HPM technologies to inform strategic planning, decision-making, and employment considerations.
* Advise on threat analysis, system vulnerabilities, and countermeasure development related to DE/HPM capabilities.
* Leads and/or participates in a variety of Directed Energy community of interest and DoW C-sUAS sub-working groups that actively develop joint solutions that resolve high-visibility problems related to C-sUAS mission accomplishment.
* Continuously coordinate and liaise with military services, joint staff, and combatant commands within the Department of War and across the interagency to advance actions related to the implementation of national-level operations and directives.
* Lead and/or participate in cross-functional teams within JIATF 401 to synchronize planning and resourcing for directed efforts across the organization. * Draft and lead staffing for responses to legislative inquiries, periodic reports to Congress, and other inquiries related to JIATF 401 initiatives.
* Develop briefings, information papers, and talking points for division leadership and serve as a briefer for senior leader engagements across the DoW.
* Leads staffing of division taskers in the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) and or Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) across all departments of war organizations and components.
