Job description

The sUAS Technician I will support manufacturing processes, assembly, quality control, and maintenance/ repair of all ASW sUAS and components. The sUAS technician I will work with the lead technician and other technicians to develop assembly processes. The sUAS technician I will coordinate with the lead technician for parts supply to facilitate components purchase.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Support manufacture and assembly of sUAS parts and components

· Support inspection and maintenance of sUAS parts and components

· Basic preflight readiness process of sUAS parts and components

· Support quality control for all finished goods

· Support e-commerce parts allocation and sales

· Identify and support sourcing for bill of materials for finished goods

· Support flight ops team on an as needed basis

Desired Skills

· Experience packaging and shipping merchandise

· Understanding of autopilot systems (mainly CubePilot). CubePilot Ecosystem, hardware, functionality, integration, troubleshooting, programming

· Forklift operator

· Ability to manage and operate vehicles/trailers

· Manual machining (working understanding, basic skills mill/lathe)

· CNC operation and upkeep

· sUAS Battery systems (sizing, specifications, upkeep, charging/discharging, safety)

· Working understanding of aviation systems (airspace, airports, etc.)
