Job description

A well-established, not-for-profit healthcare system in the Seattle area is actively seeking a full-time Pulmonary / Sleep Medicine Nurse Practitioner (Pulm/Sleep APP) to join its growing specialty team. The organization participates in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.

Position Overview
• Provide outpatient pulmonary and sleep medicine care for adult patients
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage pulmonary conditions such as COPD, asthma, chronic cough, and pulmonary infections
• Assess and manage sleep-related disorders including sleep apnea, insomnia, and hypersomnia
• Conduct patient consultations, follow-up visits, and treatment planning
• Collaborate closely with pulmonologists and sleep medicine physicians on comprehensive care plans
• Interpret sleep studies, pulmonary function tests (PFTs), and diagnostic imaging as appropriate
• Educate patients on CPAP/BiPAP therapy, medication management, smoking cessation, and lifestyle modifications
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems

Qualifications
• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Active or eligible for Washington State licensure
• Active/eligible DEA registration
• Prior experience in pulmonary, sleep medicine, internal medicine, or primary care preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
