Job description

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC has a potential need for a Biostatistician II to provide support for our government customer in Aberdeen, MD.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide statistical guidance and recommendations for Public Health study design and statistical analysis.
  • Write and/or review statistical sections of Public Health studies, prepare analysis plans, and write detailed specifications for analysis files, consistency checks, tables, and figures.
  • Perform appropriate statistical analyses, interpret analyses and write statistical sections of Public Health study reports.
  • Communicate with data managers, study personnel, and other customers regarding statistical design, programming, and analysis for Public Health studies.
  • Develop and update appropriate Public Health statistical documentation, store documents and data, and perform all functions in accordance with applicable regulations, guidance, and procedures.
  • Develop and prepare Public Health technical reports, business process documentation, oral reports, charts, tables and/or professional quality presentations, as required.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Epidemiology, Bioinformatics, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health or similar field.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Proficient SAS and R, Microsoft Office Suite for analysis.
Demonstrate communication skills to integrate information into concise informational products for an audience of DoD and interagency partners.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience working in a DoD Government environment preferred.
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen; for the purposes of this effort Visa and Green-card holders are not eligible.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the Position of a Public Trust.
