As a study abroad coordinator, you perform administrative duties like reviewing applications, obtaining students’ academic or travel documents, and overseeing visa compliance. You may update web content, create promotional brochures, and conduct information sessions for students interested in study abroad programs. You may also work as an advisor to help international students meet their academic goals. Other responsibilities include staying up-to-date on world events that may influence or affect the travel and safety of students, as well as having a plan to take proper action in the case of an emergency.
