Job Description
VG Systems, LLC is seeking a skilled Audio Visual (A/V) Lead to provide broadcast-quality support for auditorium environments, conferences, senior-level meetings, ceremonies, and special events. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality audio/visual production services, providing technical oversight, and ensuring seamless execution of all A/V requirements in alignment with PWS objectives. The position requires advanced expertise in production lighting, sound engineering, and video systems within a live or broadcast production environment.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform broadcast-quality audio/visual support for conferences, senior-level meetings, ceremonies, and events.
  • Provide technical oversight of A/V equipment operation and requirements in coordination with subject matter experts (SMEs) and leadership.
  • Operate and manage production lighting systems, sound and audio controls, and video switching equipment.
  • Ensure high-level proficiency in video formatting and resolution conversion within a broadcast/production environment.
  • Support the integration and execution of presentations, graphics, video content, and audio tracks for auditorium functions.
  • Deliver creative audio support, including original music scoring and soundtrack development for events and agency products.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure uninterrupted event execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all A/V deliverables meet mission and event requirements.
  • Create, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to A/V operations and production workflows.
  • Ensure SOPs remain current and accurately reflect equipment usage, processes, and technical standards.
  • Document procedures and provide guidance to team members to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Support requirements outlined in Performance Objective 3 – Motion Media Services.


Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret security clearance is required (must have at time of hire).
  • Advanced knowledge of audio/visual production systems, including lighting, sound, and video switching.
  • Strong understanding of broadcast production environments and technical standards.
  • Ability to manage and execute multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in live production settings.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality production support.


Education/Experience:

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Studio Production, Music Production, or a related arts discipline with 5 years of experience providing creative, high-quality service/support on a DoD or commercial VIPC-type contract (supporting requirements similar to those identified in the PWS).
  • Substitution: Associate’s degree in Studio Production, Music Production, or a related arts discipline with 7 years of experience providing creative service/support on a DoD or commercial VIPC-type contract (supporting requirements similar to those identified in the PWS).
  • No additional substitutions are authorized.
