Bach to Rock in Nanuet is a modern, performance-based music school dedicated to teaching students of all ages how to play the music they love. We are a supportive, high-energy team that values creativity, professionalism, and student growth.
We are currently seeking experienced instructors who can teach private lessons, coach rock bands, and confidently play two or more instruments. Core needs include guitar, drums, keyboard, and bass. We also welcome instructors who teach orchestral instruments such as violin, viola, cello, woodwinds, or brass.

What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in music theory and technique, experience working with students of varying ages and skill levels, and the ability to lead and coach ensembles. You should be confident, engaging, and passionate about helping students grow both musically and personally.
We value instructors who are patient, creative, organized, and excited to be part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging private lessons tailored to individual student goals
  • Coach and lead rock band rehearsals
  • Teach music theory, technique, and performance skills
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress with parents
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and positive learning environment
  • Support and lead recitals, concerts, and live performances
  • Assist with Bach to Rock events, camps, workshops, and community performances
  • Represent the school professionally and serve as a positive, welcoming face of the Bach to Rock brand within the community
