Job description

Build Community. Create Connection. Grow the Brand.

At JETSET Pilates, we believe community starts long before someone walks through our doors. The Assistant General Manager is responsible for introducing JETSET to new markets, building meaningful local relationships, and creating experiences that inspire people to become part of our community.

Working alongside the General Manager, this role is the driving force behind local partnerships, community events, social media, and member engagement. From helping launch a brand-new studio to supporting its long-term growth, the AGM plays a key role in building awareness, generating leads, and creating an exceptional member experience.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who loves meeting people, thrives in the community, and is excited by the idea of helping build something from the ground up.

What You'll Do
Pre-Opening | Launch the Market

Before the studio opens, you'll serve as JETSET's ambassador throughout the community by:

  • Building relationships with local businesses, wellness partners, run clubs, apartment communities, and corporate organizations.

  • Planning and executing community activations, pop-ups, and tabling events.

  • Supporting JETSET On The Mat community classes and creating memorable guest experiences.

  • Capturing leads and helping build a strong founding member community.

  • Creating engaging local social media content alongside the marketing team.

  • Generating excitement and awareness leading into opening day.

Post-Opening | Grow the Community

Once the studio opens, your focus shifts toward converting community into membership by:

  • Continuing to build partnerships that drive referrals and new memberships.

  • Supporting local events and ongoing community engagement.

  • Partnering with the General Manager to drive membership growth and studio goals.

  • Following up with prospective members and supporting lead conversion.

  • Delivering an exceptional member experience during in-studio shifts.

  • Supporting front desk operations while helping create a welcoming, elevated studio environment.

Who You Are

You are someone who naturally connects with people and enjoys building relationships. You're energized by being out in the community, creating memorable experiences, and representing a brand you believe in.

You bring:
  • Experience in hospitality, fitness, retail, events, marketing, or community engagement.

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.

  • A passion for health, wellness, and boutique fitness.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • An entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and community events as needed.

Why this role matters:

The General Manager is responsible for leading the studio. The Assistant General Manager is responsible for growing the community around it.

Together, these roles create the culture, energy, and member experience that define JETSET Pilates.

If you're excited by the opportunity to launch new markets, build meaningful relationships, and help shape the future of one of the fastest-growing boutique fitness brands, we'd love to meet you.
