Job description

Description:

CamFit is a multi-studio Orangetheory Fitness franchisee committed to delivering a world-class fitness experience through science-backed, heart rate-based interval training. In 60 minutes, our members reach their optimal heart rate zones, burn calories, and build a stronger, healthier life. Every role at CamFit is a role in changing lives.

We are a people-first organization. We hire for energy, develop for excellence, and promote from within.

Why This Role Matters

The Sales Associate is the first face a prospective member sees and the last voice they hear before deciding to join. That moment — the intro, the conversation, the close — is where the member journey begins.

Get it right and you change someone’s life. Every membership sold is a person who showed up for themselves, and you made it easier for them to say yes.

Job Summary

As a Sales Associate at CamFit, you are the energy at the front of the house. You manage membership sales, deliver exceptional member experiences, and own the intro process from the first hello to a signed membership.

This is a sales role in a fitness environment, which means the product is something people genuinely need, and your job is to help them see that.

What You’ll Do

Member Experience

  • Be the first point of contact for members and guests.
  • Greet every person with energy, warmth, and genuine attention.
  • Create an environment where members feel known, welcomed, and motivated to come back.
  • Handle member questions, concerns, and account needs with professionalism and care.
  • Support daily studio operations and maintain front-of-house cleanliness and organization.

Intro Process & Membership Sales

  • Own the first impression for every prospective member who walks through the door.
  • Guide first-time visitors through a structured intro process: greet, learn about their goals, match them to the right membership, and close.
  • Speak confidently about membership options and connect each option to the prospective member’s goals, schedule, and lifestyle.
  • Close every intro conversation with a clear recommendation and invitation to join.
  • Treat membership conversion as a core performance expectation, not an optional add-on.
  • Set, track, and work toward daily and weekly sales targets.

Sales & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual sales goals in new memberships, renewals, and retail.
  • Maintain accurate records in the membership management system and CRM.
  • Handle inbound calls, outbound follow-ups, and lead management with urgency.
  • Support studio promotions, events, and member campaigns.
  • Collaborate with coaches and studio leadership to create a strong member experience from front desk to fitness floor.

Studio Cleanliness Standards

  • Maintain a second-to-none cleanliness standard across all areas of the studio, including the fitness floor, lobby, locker rooms, restrooms, and back-of-house areas.
  • Take ownership of cleanliness on every shift.
  • Address cleanliness issues immediately and do not wait for a scheduled cleaning cycle to correct them.
  • Help create a studio environment that feels clean, organized, welcoming, and ready for members.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and genuine comfort connecting with people
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
  • Comfortable using basic technology, including CRM, point-of-sale, and scheduling systems
  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in sales, fitness, wellness, retail, hospitality, or customer service
  • Experience in a goal-driven or metrics-tracked role
  • Passion for health and fitness
  • Genuine enthusiasm for the Orangetheory Fitness product

This Role Is Right for You If...

  • You thrive on connecting with people and helping them make decisions that improve their life.
  • You hold yourself accountable to goals without being told to.
  • You can juggle a ringing phone, a lobby full of members, and a to-do list while still making everyone feel like the priority.
  • You are energized by sales, service, and being part of a team.
  • You want to grow into a leadership role and are willing to earn it.

Career Growth at CamFit

CamFit promotes from within. High-performing Sales Associates are a key pipeline for future leadership opportunities within the studio, including Assistant Studio Manager, Studio Manager, and other growth roles across the CamFit network.

If you come with the right energy and commitment, we will invest in your development.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base compensation
  • Company incentive programs that evolve with business needs
  • Major medical, dental, and vision benefits for full-time employees
  • Long-term and short-term disability insurance and life insurance options
  • Complimentary Orangetheory Fitness membership
  • Employee discounts on apparel and retail
  • Clear path to advancement within a growing franchise network

Schedule

  • Part-time and full-time schedules available.
  • Flexible availability is required, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Studio hours of operation drive the schedule.
