Job Description

NBCUniversal is seeking a Director, Analytics & AI Solutions to join the Studio Distribution Technology & Operations organization within Universal Entertainment Technology. This role is responsible for defining and executing the analytics product strategy and AI solutions that enable commercial decision-making across Studio Distribution.

The Director will partner closely with business leadership, Enterprise Product, AI enablement, and Engineering teams to align analytics capabilities and AI solutions with business priorities, drive convergence across distribution lines, and ensure integration with the broader enterprise data/analytics and AI ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Studio Distribution leadership to understand sales, financial, content supply chain and content performance analytics & AI needs across businesses and geographies
  • Define a clear, long-term analytics product strategy that supports commercial decision-making across Theatrical Distribution, Home Entertainment, and Global TV Distribution
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI opportunities that improve business workflows, user experience, and operational efficiency
  • Establish a unified view of title, sales, and financial performance across all distribution channels, windows, and territories
  • Align data models, KPIs, and business definitions across distribution lines to enable consistent, comparable performance measurement
  • Connect content supply chain operations with downstream distribution performance, enabling end-to-end visibility and decision support
  • Drive adoption of analytics products by ensuring insights are intuitive, trusted, and embedded into day-to-day decision-making for business leaders
  • Reduce duplication and inefficiencies across analytics efforts by promoting reuse of data assets, standardized frameworks, and enterprise platforms
  • Ensure analytics capabilities are scalable and AI-ready, with well-structured data foundations that support advanced analytics and predictive insights
  • Translate business needs into a prioritized analytics roadmap that balances immediate insights with long-term scalability and convergence
  • Own the analytics product vision and success criteria for Studio Distribution, with a focus on business outcomes and decision support
  • Serve as the primary analytics product partner to Enterprise Product and Engineering teams
  • Partner with engineering teams to define priorities for ingesting and enabling internal and external data required for Studio Distribution analytics
  • Guide analytics requirements and sequencing across multiple data sources while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards
  • Drive alignment and collaboration with analytics leaders across Enterprise Finance, Ad Sales, Direct-to-Consumer platforms, and Universal Theme Parks
  • Ensure analytics products are delivered through enterprise BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, and related tools
  • Focus on usability, clarity, and adoption of analytics products by business users
  • Partner with Sales Operations, Enterprise Product, and Engineering teams to ensure Salesforce and Salesforce Data Cloud effectively support sales and commercial analytics use cases
  • Partner with enterprise AI and data science teams to identify opportunities where analytics can enable AI-driven insights
  • Lead and develop a geographically distributed analytics product team
  • Establish clear operating rhythms, stakeholder engagement models, and delivery accountability
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Math, Statistics, Economics or another relevant field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 10+ years of experience in analytics, insights, or analytics product leadership roles with 5+ years of management experience
  • Strong knowledge of AI/ML capabilities and experience identifying practical, high-value AI use cases
  • Proven ability to define and execute analytics strategy across multiple business lines with competing priorities
  • Strong track record of driving alignment and delivering results in complex, matrixed enterprise environments
  • Experience partnering with senior business leaders to translate commercial needs into analytics solutions
  • Ability to operate effectively at both executive and working levels
  • Experience working across complex data ecosystems and multiple analytics platforms
  • Hands-on familiarity with BI and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, or equivalent platforms
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Salesforce Data Cloud in support of sales and commercial analytics
  • Experience managing and developing globally distributed teams
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience in media, entertainment, distribution, or similarly complex commercial environments

Additional Requirements:

  • Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
