Job Description
The purpose of this position is to provide customer service and to assist students in the registration process and to process registrations for credit and non-credit courses at the Denison Campus. This position is located at the DENISON Campus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Customer service (phones, face-to-face) greeting students and customers and making appointments for advisors.
  • Filing (variety of tasks from pulling appointment files, putting things away, making labels for files).
  • Maintaining the registration list and contacting students to register for upcoming semesters and scheduling appointments.
  • Register students for WITCC courses in person, by mail and over the telephone
  • Provide information on course offerings, tuition and fees.
  • Receive and process information requests.
  • Process computer returns and provide technology support to students.
  • Assist students with account inquiries and process payments.
  • Enter and update student data for records.
  • Organize and maintain student library and food pantry.
  • Use excellent human relations and communications skills.
  • Use computer applications to create and manage files and communicate information, maintaining confidentiality.
This is a part time, grade 3, support position working 16 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with an hourly wage of $17.97 Benefits include paid vacation, sick leave and holidays; tuition waiver; and retirement.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma.
  • Related work experience.
