RN Health & Wellness Manager – Full-Time Contract
Location: Manhattan, KS
Pay: $52.88/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM CST
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract: Through November 30, 2026, with a potential extension through March 31, 2027

Position OverviewCedar Park Group is seeking an RN Health & Wellness Manager for a full-time contract position in Manhattan, Kansas. The Health & Wellness Manager supports a Health and Wellness Program and is responsible for healthcare coordination and the administrative and programmatic management of the department. Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage the department's administrative and programmatic activities.
  • Provide staff training, evaluate staff performance, and implement approved departmental changes.
  • Develop and monitor the departmental budget, control expenditures, and recommend changes to budget authorizations.
  • Develop and implement Health and Wellness Program policies and procedures.
  • Review assigned areas for contractual compliance and service effectiveness and prepare required reports.
  • Manage and coordinate healthcare for students, including direct medical, dental, and mental health services.
  • Participate as a member of the mental health team.
  • Screen medical and dental patients and coordinate follow-up care.
  • Manage records and reports involving student injuries, diseases, and disabilities.
  • Manage health-related training for other departments.
  • Coordinate, review, and approve payment for outside vendors, subcontracted staff, and services within contractual and budgetary limitations.
  • Supervise substance-use prevention and education services and coordinate related health services with staff.
  • Provide direction and technical services for pregnancy, mental health, and other health-related special programs.
  • Serve as the designated disability coordinator.
  • Participate in an assigned on-call rotation to provide consultation, guidance, and decision-making support for urgent situations.
  • Teach student wellness classes and participate in student employability programs and activities.
  • Maintain accountability of staff, students, and property and adhere to safety practices.
Requirements
  • Current, valid RN license and appropriate state registration.
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to successfully complete required background investigation and approval requirements.
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM CST.
