The Student Nurse Apprenticeship Application Deadline is October 1st, 2026

Norton Healthcare Center for Nursing Practice is looking for exceptional student nurses for its Student Nurse Apprenticeship Program (SNAP). SNAP reinforces nursing education and patient safety, awareness of the professional nurse role, and an appreciation of organizational structures and operations within a healthcare care setting. The Student Nurse Apprentice Program is a three-tiered, experience to hybrid m odel of intentional investing in the student nurse. The overall goals of SNAP are to increase preparedness, to practice with inter-professional education, and to increase organizational retention in the identified specialty clinical areas.

SNAP is:

The first pre-licensure nursing apprenticeship program in the United States.

A m odel of intentional investing in the student nurse through three tiers: culture, clinical and confidence.

A paid apprenticeship providing educational and clinical experiences for 12 to 18 months in preparation for a registered nurse role after graduation.

You will earn $22.00 per hour during your educational and clinical experiences in the SNAP Program.

You may be eligible for tuition assistance up to $45,000 as one of the many ways we will support you while in school.

Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited Nursing Program:

Those enrolled in an Associate degree program must have completed one term and those enrolled in a Bachelor degree program must have completed the first semester of junior level by January 2027.

Your graduation date must fall between December 2027 - September 2028.

Qualifications

Required:

Must be enrolled in an accredited Nursing Program with a graduation date between December 2027 - September 2028.
