Job Summary
This is for current incoming Student Teachers only and requires a password. You may only sub for your mentor teacher during your student teacher placement. Once hired, you may continue as a regular substitute teacher after your student teaching has ended.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Copy of Transcript (Copy of Transcript (Copy of BA Transcript with full name, university, and conferred date. Can be unofficial))
  • Credential Copy (To obtain your Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit, please make an appointment with the Orange County Department of Education 714-966-4000. If you are in the process of obtaining this permit, upload a document stating so and title it "Permit" or "Credential.")
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Letter(s) of Recommendation or Character Reference - 1 letter required, up to 3 may be submitted. Must be dated from within the last two years. Each letter must be signed, dated and include contact information for the reference. Letters received without a signature, date and contact information will automatically be rejected. )

Comments and Other Information
This posting is only available for Student Teachers during the duration of their student teaching assignment. Student Teachers may only substitute for their Mentor Teacher.
