 Summer Student Tech Positions

Job Description:

The BTSD Technology Department is looking for two Senior class members or recent graduates to assist over the summer with projects and preparation for the 26-27 school year.  Hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, at $15.92 per hour.  Starting Tuesday, June 23, and ending on or about Monday, August 31. Students must provide their own means of transportation.  Please offer a personal statement as to why you are qualified for the Summer Student Tech Intern Positions. Please note any days or weeks you are unavailable during the summer. Forward your statement and resume to Mr. Beavers, Director of Information Technology (sbeavers@bernardsboe.com), no later than Friday, June 5.

Job Duties Include:

  • Unboxing, movement, setup, and connection of computers
  • Imaging new computers on the network
  • Remove old computers and prepare a list of equipment ready for recycling
  • Serializing and inventorying new computers
  • Assist in cabling and projector installs as needed
  • Chromebook unboxing, setup, and prep for incoming students QTY 1000+
  • All other duties assigned involving technology

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 5 lbs and climb ladders as necessary
  • Must not be allergic to dust
  • Strong ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks in a timely fashion
  • A healthy interest in technology
  • Ability to work alone and with a team member
