These internships can be paid or unpaid and often provide students with opportunities to learn new skills, build their professional network, and explore potential career paths. Summer internships are valuable for enhancing a resume and can sometimes lead to future full-time employment opportunities. They also allow students to apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings.

These projects often include assisting with research, supporting ongoing team initiatives, and contributing to process improvements.
