NATURE ET PORTEE

Relevant de la directrice adjointe des etudes, Reussite etudiante, le ou la Commis aux Centre des services adaptes soutient l'organisation et la prestation des evaluations des etudiants au Centre des services adaptes, tout en veillant a la mise en place appropriee des installations et des technologies requises.


RESPONSABILITES

  • Assister les membres du personnel du Centre des services adaptes dans les taches administratives liees aux evaluations des etudiants organisees par le Centre
  • Fournir un soutien administratif, notamment en preparant les evaluations et en mettant en place les technologies necessaires aux mesures d'adaptation pour les examens
  • Veiller a la reception en temps opportun des evaluations des etudiants transmises par les enseignants, y compris toute instruction particuliere, ainsi qu'a la remise aux enseignants des evaluations completees
  • Soutenir la planification et la coordination des evaluations des etudiants organisees par le Centre des services adaptes conformement aux regles et procedures etablies par le College
  • Assurer une surveillance constante des etudiants pendant les examens au Centre
  • Assister les membres du personnel du Centre des services adaptes dans leurs communications avec les enseignants et le personnel du College concernant les evaluations des etudiants, au besoin
  • Assister les etudiants ayant des limitations fonctionnelles importantes dans le cadre de leurs cours, notamment en agissant a titre de secretaire ou de lecteur pour les etudiants, lorsque requis

NATURE AND SCOPE

Under the supervision of the Associate Dean, Student Success, the AccessAbility Clerk supports the organization and delivery of student evaluations in the Accessibility Centre while ensuring the appropriate setup and technology required.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists the staff members of the AccessAbility Centre in the administrative matters pertaining to student evaluations organized by the Centre
  • Provides administrative support including setting up evaluations and technology for testing accommodations
  • Ensures the timely reception of student evaluations from faculty including any special instructions and the delivery to faculty of completed student evaluations
  • Supports the planning and coordination of student evaluations organized by the AccessAbility Centre following the rules and procedures defined by the College
  • Ensures a constant observation of students during exams in the Centre
  • Assists the staff members of the AccessAbility Centre in communicating with faculty and College staff regarding student evaluations, as needed
  • Assists students with major functional disabilities with their classes (e.g. acts as a scribe or reader for students), when required
  • Fulfills other duties as required
